Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Milk
  • Dijon mustard
  • Smoked paprika
  • Chicken broth
  • Garlic

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add potato chunks and cook until fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Drain, then mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  2. Season shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and cook salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove.
  5. For the garlic cream sauce, sauté minced garlic in butter, then add heavy cream, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Simmer until thickened (4-5 minutes).
  6. Return shrimp and salmon to the sauce for an additional simmer (2-3 minutes).
  7. Boil another pot of salted water for green beans; cook until tender-crisp (3-4 minutes). Sauté in butter with garlic and red pepper flakes.
  8. Plate mashed potatoes topped with seafood and sauce alongside sautéed green beans.
