- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Make the dough by mixing flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, ice water, and lemon juice; combine with dry ingredients. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the filling by tossing sliced apples with sugars, cornstarch, spices, salt, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the larger dough piece and fit it into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan. Spread apple filling over the crust. Roll out the second dough piece as the top crust and crimp edges.
