  • â…“ C green onions chopped
  • 1 ½ C heavy whipping cream
  • 2 C whole milk
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 8 oz cooked shrimp cut into pieces
  • 8 oz crab meat
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat until foamy.
  2. Sauté the chopped celery and green onions for about 3–4 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the flour and sauté for another minute to create a roux.
  4. Heat the milk in the microwave until warm, then whisk it into the saucepan until smooth.
  5. Add the heavy cream, tomato paste, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper; whisk to combine.
  6. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in the cooked shrimp and crab meat; heat gently without overcooking.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
