- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (for caramel)
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 24 ounces chocolate almond bark
- 1 tablespoon oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour and sugar; cut in softened butter until crumbly. Press into the pan.
- Bake crust for about 20 minutes until lightly golden.
- For caramel, melt butter in a saucepan, add brown sugar, corn syrup, and condensed milk; boil and stir for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Pour cooled caramel over crust; let firm up (about 10 minutes in the fridge).
- Cut into strips after cooling completely.
- Melt chocolate bark with oil in intervals until smooth.
