  • 23 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese (to taste)
  • 12 tbsp oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potato into chunks, then steam for 10-15 minutes until soft.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the steamed potatoes and combine with rice flour, sugar, and salt until well mixed.
  3. Scoop out the dough, roll into balls, flatten them, and place shredded mozzarella in the center. Wrap the dough around the cheese tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook each hotteok for about 10-12 minutes on both sides until golden brown.
