  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 6 slider buns
  • 1 cup arugula
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a bowl, mix maple syrup and Dijon mustard for the glaze.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown, brushing half the glaze on while cooking.
  5. Transfer chicken to a baking sheet, brush with remaining glaze, and bake for about 10 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Cook bacon in the same skillet until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  7. After cooling slightly, slice chicken into thin pieces.
  8. Assemble sliders: place arugula on each bun, top with chicken and bacon, then close with the other half of the bun.
  9. Serve immediately for the best flavor.
