Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6 slices bacon
- 6 slider buns
- 1 cup arugula
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a bowl, mix maple syrup and Dijon mustard for the glaze.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown, brushing half the glaze on while cooking.
- Transfer chicken to a baking sheet, brush with remaining glaze, and bake for about 10 minutes or until cooked through.
- Cook bacon in the same skillet until crispy; drain on paper towels.
- After cooling slightly, slice chicken into thin pieces.
- Assemble sliders: place arugula on each bun, top with chicken and bacon, then close with the other half of the bun.
